Rescheduling, cancellation and refund policies
Until when can I cancel without cost?

You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the start of the first activity at no cost.

For payments made by credit or debit card, the refund will be only 77%, due to transaction fees and taxes.

If the passenger does not show up on the day of the tour, there will be no refund of the amount paid (including park entrance fees).
When can LAYANA TRAVEL cancel an excursion?
Altiplano Winter/Severe Weather Fronts/Sandstorms: During February and March, San Pedro de Atacama is affected by the Altiplano Winter phenomenon, which brings thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds. Therefore, some attractions are usually closed. Likewise, we are sometimes affected by severe weather fronts and/or sandstorms, which can occur along the way, upon arrival at the attractions, or mid-tour. In this situation, scheduled excursions may be suspended, or you may return to San Pedro if you have already departed.
What do we do about it?
If the excursion is suspended, depending on the passenger's availability, the tour can be rescheduled, or a 100% refund can be issued. If the passenger manages to complete part of the tour, they will be charged according to the portion completed.
Payment Policies
Full payment of the reservation must be completed before the start of the activities.
In order to confirm your reservation, we request a transfer of at least 50% of the total value of the itinerary.
The balance (the other 50%) must be paid before the start of the first service. Once at least 50% has been transferred, we will confirm the reservation.
If you live in Chile, deposit 50% of the chosen plan to the following account when making the reservation, the other 50% can be paid in cash or by card at the agency, or with another transfer before the first contracted tour.
